Hey gang, just a quick update.
It's the 6th September 2023 and today felt a bit like jumping off a cliff into the unknown because I signed the contract with Gabriel to take over Sofia's Unwin(e)d to turn it into a boutique gin bar in Kouklia.
So now it's real and the work begins on transforming the inside of the building into the image (the one above) that I have had rolling around in my head for the past month or so. I have given myself a loose completion date of the middle of October to get everything completed but I'm fairly confident that there will be all sorts of speed bumps in the way and that date will slide.
As you can see from the picture, I'm planning to move the wall back and reduce the size of the Kitchen which will in turn increase the size of the bar area. We will also have a seating area upstairs (probably more of a lounge type arrangement) and out front on the veranda.
Below is the vision in my head of how the upstairs might look. I'm probably going to have to install a bell to ring for service LOL.
I'm having quotes done for the internal refit and will be moving all of the unwanted items out next week so watch this space.
